Biography
Fantasy game design crept up on Lou Agresta in 2005, when diamondthrone.com accepted his first articles on true names. Until then, a writer of travelogues, indie comics, fashion essays, and self-indulgent philosophy tracts, his more recent RPG credits include work for 0onegames, Goodman Games, LPJ Designs, and Paizo. A contributor to Sinister Adventures, and chief-scribbler over at the RPGAggression blog, Lou has made guest appearances as Cthu-Lou on the Atomic Array podcast. Dungeon acquired his first adventure, written with Nicolas Logue, then canceled the entire publication, leaving Lou forever haunted by the fear he was somehow responsible for the magazine's demise. Lou lives somewhere in upstate NY with his wife, his daughter, a dog, and a couple of horses. While he has sometimes worn a kilt and ridden a tractor, no one has ever caught him doing both.
